It was decided a while ago that Sam is such a gaming geek that he has (and still enjoys) all of the older gaming systems. This decision was based off of my many hours of playing the original Pokemon Red Version.

But I also wanted to go deeper into who Sam's dad is. He's a good dad (almost), he special ordered a GameBoy for his son, but just couldn't remember exactly what his son's name was. I'm going to have to plan more appearances for Sam's Dad.
